Remigration

Another topic I have “touched upon” is “remigration.” This word is a neologism, which means coming back to where you have been driven out.I've always said that I wanted a smooth ride, but I couldn't help rocking the boat. Rocking seems to be in my genes.

Remarkable People

On the road I have traveled, I have met many remarkable people. First I name my friend and mentor the late Emile Capouya. “Mike” encouraged me over the years and published two of my books in New York.

What do India and Pakistan have in common,
other than languages, culture, and cuisine?
They are both being terrorized by suicidal fanatics
located in Pakistan.
What is the solution for two […]

The White House and Fox

Herbert Kuhner

The Myth

There’s a myth circulating that President Reagan and Pope John Paul II  brought down Communism in the Soviet Union. That’s a half truth. They helped prevent the liberalization of society in a Union that had been a dictatorship.
When Mikhail Gorbachev took the reins of the Communist Party in 1985, he […]

Lunch Bunch

Lunch Table Retrospective
Before attending the Lunch Bunch Round Table in Vienna on Fridays, I thought that the American way was consensus. While attending, I started to use internet. Upon seeing how Town Hall and the National Review online ridicule those who do not share their political views, I had my doubts. After having experienced […]

EU Candidates

Blair Down - Schüssel and Gusenbauer Up in the EU
Opposition to Blair (as President of the E.U.) centers on his support for the war in Iraq. The war was mishandled and misbegotten - but if Blair had abandoned the United States, there would be little left of the Trans-Atlantic Alliance […]
