Remigration

Another topic I have “touched upon” is “remigration.” This word is a neologism, which means coming back to where you have been driven out.I've always said that I wanted a smooth ride, but I couldn't help rocking the boat. Rocking seems to be in my genes.

Remarkable People

On the road I have traveled, I have met many remarkable people. First I name my friend and mentor the late Emile Capouya. “Mike” encouraged me over the years and published two of my books in New York.

grew up in the United States, associating with the New York City jazz and coffee scene in the 1950s. ". . .I've always said that I wanted a smooth ride, but I couldn't help rocking the boat. Rocking seems to be in my genes". As a subtitle I’ve chosen “Stepping out of line,” which is a movement my feet can’t seem to avoid making.

Returning to my birthplace has given me a unique opportunity of writing on Third Reich Revisionism. This topic interlinks with Violence under the Guise of Art like pieces of a puzzle to reveal how the past manifests itself in the present.

Noblesse Oblige and Hillary

Here’s John Spencer, who was Hillary Clinton’s Republican opponent for the New York Senate seat.

Hillary.jpg“You ever see a picture of her back then? Whew, I don’t know why Bill married her. ‘Whew’ she was hideous before ‘work.’ Noting Hillary Clinton looks much different now, he chalked it up to “millions of dollars” of “work!” - plastic surgery. She looks good now.” (1)

Actually I’m not a fan of either Bill or Hillary, but I’m very much less of a fan of John Who! And I’m glad that he lost his bid for the New York senatorial seat. His comment is unfortunately a typical example of “Conservative” noblesse oblige.

However, he mitigates by saying, “She looks good now” - speculating that a surgeon’s art is responsible for the change in appearance. (Actually that’s a below-the-belt dig too.)

What the hell do a woman’s looks have to do with her ability to be a politician or anything else? The political dumbbell quoted has disappeared from view, but his attitude has not. Unfortunately there’s no paucity of such dolts in the Grand Old Party.

Compassionate Rush

Will this country want to actually watch a woman get older before their eyes on a daily basis? I am not asking the American people to look at Mrs. Clinton that way. I’m just asking if they will. Men aging makes them look more authoritative, accomplished, distinguished. It’s the way it works. Did aging in office hurt Hillary’s husband, Bill? He was 54 when he left office. People don’t want the truth. See, everything that I have said was sympathetic.

Feminism was established so as to allow unattractive women easier access to the mainstream of American culture and society.

What a nice man Rush is! He’s so concerned about poor Hillary. He’s not only nice, he’s a beautiful hunk of man. Looks don’t count for a man, but being handsome doesn’t harm Rush.

How very sad that women age. We want them to be beautiful. And if they’re not beautiful, they should stay at home - somebody else’s home, that is.

Ability always counted for a man, but women had to be ornamental. And if they were attractive, then it was okay for them to be in public life. However, now feminism has changed that narrow view, and we have to be grateful to it. As Rush says, “it gives unattractive women access to the mainstream.”

Previously I thought Rush was rather nasty, but I was wrong. He has a heart for the ugly ducklings.
