Remigration

Another topic I have “touched upon” is “remigration.” This word is a neologism, which means coming back to where you have been driven out.I've always said that I wanted a smooth ride, but I couldn't help rocking the boat. Rocking seems to be in my genes.

Remarkable People

On the road I have traveled, I have met many remarkable people. First I name my friend and mentor the late Emile Capouya. “Mike” encouraged me over the years and published two of my books in New York.

The Three Major Religions

The Greeks told beautiful stories, which were light and ephemeral.
I rather doubt that their authors believed them.
The gods they wrote about were as human as humans.

The Jewish prophets were dead serious and concocted a Deity,
who was a celestial dictator and was as merciless as can be.

Judaism spawned Christianity and Islam,
each of which was a progression in guilt and expiation.

The Christians initiated the concept of Original Sin,
which means that the guilt comes with birth.

The Moslems keep their religion pure and don’t contaminate it with compassion.

I personally think that we were better off with the beautiful stories of the Greeks,
and that these weighed-down religions are a throwback in ignorance.
