Remigration

Another topic I have “touched upon” is “remigration.” This word is a neologism, which means coming back to where you have been driven out.I've always said that I wanted a smooth ride, but I couldn't help rocking the boat. Rocking seems to be in my genes.

Remarkable People

On the road I have traveled, I have met many remarkable people. First I name my friend and mentor the late Emile Capouya. “Mike” encouraged me over the years and published two of my books in New York.

Herbert Kuhner

grew up in the United States, associating with the New York City jazz and coffee scene in the 1950s. ". . I've always said that I wanted to have smooth sailing, but I couldn't help rocking the boat. Rocking seems to be in my genes". As a subtitle I’ve chosen “Stepping out of line,” which is a movement my feet can’t seem to avoid making.

Vienna Today

Returning to my birthplace has given me a unique opportunity of writing on Third Reich Revisionism. This topic interlinks with Violence under the Guise of Art like pieces of a puzzle to reveal how the past manifests itself in the present.

Fatima

Herbert Kuhner

The first sacred message received by the children at Fatima in 1917 was basically directed against atheism and communism. The second and third were directed against the Soviet Union.

The Catholic Church had it in for the Soviet Union. That stands to reason.

Every religion - save Judaism - is evangelistic, including the atheistic religion of communism. Nothing wrong with that! Unless, of course, the sword is used as a means for conversion.

In 1940, The Western Christian democracies, except Britain, were overrun by Christian Nazi Germany. Okay, a local conflict.

OurLady_of_Fatima.jpgHowever, when the Germany attacked the Soviet Union, the conflict was between Christianity and atheistic communism. Soon afterward, the United States entered the war, clouding things up a bit. The conflict was now, the United States, Britain and the Soviet Union against Germany and Italy, which was the seat of Catholicism.

The Prophet

Theodor Herzl
had gone the gamut.
First he thought
that assimilation
would solve the problem,
but he realized
that the dark clouds
looming on the horizon
would not be blown away
by neglect of religious practice
or mass conversions.
Besides, although there were many
who favored assimilation,
others wanted to continue
to lead a life within religious tradition.
So that idea had to be cast aside.

The vision of the dark clouds
oppressed him.
Although he lived a civilized life
in a civilized country
he saw murder in the future,
and then he came upon the idea
of a homeland somewhere,
and finally he pinpointed Palestine,
which was not unpopulated,
but had never been a state
since Biblical times.

Only by having a state of their own
could Jews be saved from the swords
that were being sharpened on whetstones.

The idea of a Jewish state
took precedence over everything else,
and he dedicated himself to it.

Unfortunately, Herzl proved to be right.
The Third Reich made Israel a necessity,
and the Jewish State was founded,
but it was founded too late to save
European Jewry
from what he foresaw,
too late for his daughter Trude,
who met her death in Theresienstadt,
too late for his son-in-law Richard,
who followed his wife by a month,
and too late for the prophet’s grandson,
Stephan Theodor,
who committed suicide
in Washington, D. C.
after the murder of his parents
had been confirmed.

The prophet’s other children,
Pauline and Hans,
had taken the same way out
in Bordeaux in 1931,
just before the advent
of  the Third Reich.

Like Moses,
Herzl had led
but was not fated to arrive.
He died in 1905
decades before,
his prophecy became a reality
and the Jewish State was founded.

Franz Josef and Bruno Kreisky

Quotes by Franz Josef:

Kreisky_Bruno.jpgFranz_Joseph.jpg“I won’t tolerate any hate campaigns against Jews in my empire. All anti-Semitism must immediately be nipped in her bud.”
- Franz Joseph, 1882

“I am convinced the Israelites are unequivocally loyal; they will always be able to count on my protection.”
- Franz Josef, 1883 to the Jewish Community in Graz

Quotes by Bruno Kreisky:

“If the Jews are a people, they are a lousy people.”
Bruno Kreisky to Zeev Barth, correspondent of Radio Israel, 1975

Concerning the joke that he was the only Austrian who didn’t know that he was a Jew: “That’s a typical Jewish reaction and demonstrates much intolerance. The Jews have many, many proclivities - this has been proven historically - which are typical phenomena of intolerance. I never said I wasn’t a Jew!”
- Bruno Kreisky to Alan Levy, Academia, No. 3, 1987, Vienna, p.31

“I find that Jews or descendants of Jews in their native are suspect if they declare that they are bound together by having shared a common fate or if they have a bond with Israel but feel isolated in their native country. This strikes me as being a reversed form of the anti-Semitism and it constitutes a posthumous victory for Hitler.”
- Bruno Kreisky, Frankfurter Allgemeine, November 13, 1975.

“There is no Jewish race; there are only Jewish religious groups. Israel was only the ancient, religious fatherland of Jews, but not their true fatherland.”
- Bruno Kreisky, Interview, Jan. 20, 1974, IsraPundit

“I have absolutely nothing in common with the state of Israel, especially with its present political leadership. Quite on the contrary, I am obligated to oppose it as a socialist.”
- Bruno Kreisky, Michel Cullin, Das jüdische Echo, 1987, p.179

„Kreisky’s Minister of Justice, Christian Broda …clandestinely cancelled hundreds of court cases against alleged Nazi criminals between 1971 and 1973. Beginning in 1975 there were no more criminal proceedings at all against Nazis in Austria.
Here’s a key quote by Broda: Every trial of a war criminal process costs our party hundreds of members and thousands of electoral voices.”
- Bruno Kreisky, Evelyn Adunka: Die vierte Gemeinde: Die Wiener Juden in der Zeit von 1945 bis heute, Philo Verlag, Berlin, 2000; p. 389; Die Furche, Nov. 8, 1969

He (Bruno Kreisky) described his attitude to former National Socialists: One could only have re-established this country after the war by only by not excluding them from the reconstruction. It would have been impossible to build a new state with just a handful of heroes.
- Bruno Kreisky, according to Profil, No. 36, Sept: 7; 1987 p. 27

Rush Limbaugh’s Heroine

Rush Limbaugh likes someone:

“Linda Trip - What a beautiful heroine!!!
Now there’s a person who can really lead….
Here’s a question for the pop pollsters:
Who is a better role model ‘for the children’ of America:
Bill Clinton or Linda Tripp?
I’m telling my sons to imitate her.” (1)

Hiding a mike and getting a friend to tell all,
and then snitching to the authorities,
is a sample of born-again moral values.
Denunciation is the name of the game.

Rush old boy, do you recall
the Twentieth Century dictatorship on the Continent
which called upon adults and children to denounce
neighbors, friends and family members?

Arnie Schwarzenegger does not share “Rush” to judgment:
“The impeachment proceedings and the Lewinsky scandal
was another thing I will never forgive the Republican Party for….
We spent one year wasting time because there was a human failure.
I was ashamed to call myself a Republican during that period.” (2)

Netanyahu, the Founding Father

Herbert Kuhner

The Palestinians don’t like Benjamin Netanyahu much right now, but they will revere him in the future.

Netanyahu is closing the door to negotiations for a Palestinian state.

What will be the result?

The Palestinian territories will be under Israeli jurisdiction until there is a Palestinian majority within all borders.

The Palestinian birthrate beats out that of the Israelis, excepting those with the broad-brimmed black hats.

Remember South Africa! - and Kosovo?

No one can prevent a one-man one-vote situation these days - and very likely not in the future.

A Palestinian State with an Israeli minority will have to come.

And who will be primary responsible? - no one other than Benjamin Netanyahu. Netanyahu, the First Founding Father of the Palestinian State.

Sondern in Polen. So steht es auch in Schulbüchern.”

Herr Gudenus hat sein Wissen auch aus Schulbüchern - Auschwitz liegt tatsächlich im Polen - nur Polen war damals ein vom Dritten Reich besetztes Land.

Rosenkranz and Gudenus in School

Barbara Rosenkranz, Austrian Freedom Party Presidential Candidate asked about gas chambers: “Yes, there were….That’s what I learned in school.” - Der Standard, March 5, 2010

Didn’t Frau Rosenkranz happen to read newspapers, magazines or books since her school days? Didn’t she see any films on the subject? Is her knowledge limited to what she learned in the classroom?

John Gudenus, former Freedom Party member of the Federal Council of Austria also refers to school days. “There were gas chambers, but not in the Third Reich, but rather in Poland. That’s what the school books say.”

Yes, Herr Gudenus, Auschwitz was and is in Poland, but no, Herr Gudenus in the days of mass murder, Poland was Third-Reich territory.
